Welcome to Whimsical Lane! We are so excited to share with you our vision of supporting child development through sensory and imaginative play. Our team consists of three sisters and our mom. Together we have a nationally board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist, an Elementary Principal, a Counselor with a Master's in Social Work, and a Pediatric Registered Nurse. Through each of our professions, we have experienced the benefits of sensory play and importance of providing parents with guidance on how to support their children through developmental milestones. All of this and the countless hours of playing with our own young kids, led us to creating Whimsical Lane. We hope you enjoy creating these same learning experiences and magical memories!

Imaginative and sensory play are important components to each child's overall development.

Sensory Play has been shown to help support the development of motor skills and language skills, enhance problem solving and memory, support sensory processing and brain development, and promote overall creativity and imagination. Sensory play engages multiple senses during play, which helps children and adults to learn and retain more information!

While playing with our kits your child is introduced to important vocabulary words, social norms, and foundational educational concepts needed to help set them up for future success!
